Foxx's School Journey Deepens All Stars Significance

'Know your identity': Why All Stars means so much to Foxx

For Josh Addo-Carr, representing his Indigenous roots during the annual All Stars event holds even greater significance now that his son Fox has begun school.

After being sidelined from last year's All Stars due to suspension, Addo-Carr is set to make his return for the match against Aotearoa Māori on February 15 at FMG Stadium Waikato. He aims to inspire his youngest supporter, Fox, who just had his first day at school this week.

At just three years old, Fox was too young to appreciate the All Stars when Addo-Carr last played in 2024 in Townsville.

Addo-Carr is one of eight players confirmed for the men's and women's All Stars double-header in Hamilton. The list includes James Fisher-Harris (Māori Men), Nicho Hynes (Indigenous Men), Kennedy Cherrington (Māori Women), and Jaime Chapman (Indigenous Women), with their selections announced earlier this week.
