The lads over at cowboys.com.au have spilled the beans on a bit of exciting news - Four Cowboys have been thrown into the ring for the prestigious Dally M Team of the Year.

The National Rugby League has unveiled a line-up of 35 top-notch players vying for a spot in the 2024 NRL Dally M Team of the Year, as well as contenders for Coach, Captain, and Rookie of the Year accolades.

Among the nominees for the Dally M Team of the Year are some big names in the game, including former Dally M Medallist James Tedesco, who clinched the coveted award back in 2019, as well as five athletes who made the cut for the 2023 Dally M Team of the Year.

In the mix are centres Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins) and Stephen Crichton (Bulldogs), both of whom have jumped ship to new clubs this season, prop Addin Fonua-Blake (Warriors), hooker Harry Grant (Storm), and lock Pat Carrigan (Broncos).

The NRL Dally M Team of the Year highlights the stand-out player in each position throughout the regular season rounds, showcasing the cream of the crop in Rugby League talent.

The categories include nominees for single positions like fullback, five-eighth, halfback, lock, and hooker, as well as dual positions such as wing, centre, second row, and front row.

The Dally M Awards shine a spotlight on the game's most outstanding performers from both the NRL Telstra Premiership and NRL Telstra Women's Premiership each year, with the upcoming awards ceremony set to take place on Wednesday, October 1 in Sydney.
