In a move that could be described as scoring a try in the final minutes of a tight game, one of the top young forwards in the QLD Cup has caught the eye of an overseas club in the competitive Super League.
After an impressive 2024 season with the Sunshine Coast Falcons, Caius Faatili has been snapped up by Wakefield Trinity for a one-year contract.
With eight tries under his belt, a whopping 387 tackles, and averaging 110 running meters per game in 22 matches, Caius has proven himself to be a formidable force on the field.
The brother of Cronulla Sharks forward Felix Faatili, Caius was a standout in last year's QLD Cup, catching the attention of clubs like Castleford Tigers and Warrington Wolves before ultimately choosing Wakefield.
"I can't wait to make the move to Wakefield and join the team," Caius said after signing with the club.
"I'm eager to see how far we can go in the Super League and I'm excited to be a part of the journey ahead."
With this exciting move overseas, Caius is set to embark on a new chapter in his Rugby League career, bringing his talent and determination to the international stage.
