Former NRL referee, Tim Alouani-Roby, is taking on the league in a legal battle that's as fierce as a State of Origin match-up.
Despite his contract coming to an end at the close of the 2020 season, he's claiming he was unfairly given the boot.
After being tackled to the ground in three previous legal clashes, Alouani-Roby is now stepping back onto the field to fight against what he believes was "bullying" and "discrimination" during his time with the NRL.
The court has been told that he feels like he's been sin-binned unfairly.
The Englishman had his case tossed out of the Federal Court earlier this year, after alleging that his dismissal during the height of the Covid pandemic was unjust.
His previous attempts at legal action were intercepted by the Fair Work Commission, before being shut down by the full bench.
With the Fair Work Commission ruling that his employment was simply not renewed at the end of a 12-month contract, Alouani-Roby is now aiming to score a try with an appeal to the full bench of the Federal Court.
It's a tough match, but he's determined to fight until the final whistle blows.
