Former NRL utility player Carlos Tuimavave, known for his versatility on the field with the New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle Knights, is now on the hunt for a new team as he looks to make his mark in the rugby league world once again.
Currently plying his trade with Hull FC in the tough Super League competition, Tuimavave's time with the British team is coming to an end as the club has decided not to extend his contract beyond the 2024 season.
Having last showcased his skills in the NRL back in 2015, Tuimavave, who excels in the centres and halves, made the bold move overseas in 2016.
Since then, he has made a name for himself in Hull FC, competing in 178 matches and crossing the try line 57 times.
Despite reaching the age of 32, Tuimavave is not ready to hang up his boots just yet.
While his next destination remains a mystery, the possibility of a return to the NRL or continuing his rugby league journey abroad is still on the cards.
Reflecting on his journey so far, Tuimavave mentioned, "I originally signed a three-year contract at the age of 23, but things work out differently to what you plan, and I have no regrets." It seems like the seasoned player is ready for the next chapter in his rugby league career, wherever that may take him.
