In a move that has the Parramatta Eels faithful buzzing with excitement, former player and new head honcho, Jason Ryles, has recruited his old mate from the St George Illawarra Dragons, Mark Gasiner, to join the coaching crew for the upcoming season.
This dynamic duo aims to shake things up and bring a winning mentality to the squad.
Gasnier, a renowned Dragons legend, will be working alongside the likes of Nathan Brown, Sam Moa, and Scott Wisemantel, focusing on honing the skills of the outside backs.
With talented players like Zac Lomax, Will Penisini, Bailey Simonsson, and Sean Russell under their tutelage, the Eels are poised to make their mark on the field.
"I brought him down to Melbourne when I was wearing the assistant coach hat a few seasons back, and the lads really bought into his coaching style," Ryles revealed to The Daily Telegraph.
"I knew then that if I ever landed a head coaching gig, Gaz would be my first pick.
He's loving every minute of it, especially working with the outside backs."
As they embark on this new chapter, Ryles and Gasiner are determined to inject a fresh energy into the team and lead them to victory, one play at a time.
With their combined expertise and passion for the game, the Eels are gearing up for an electrifying season ahead.
