In a clash of former coaching comrades, Andrew Webster and Cameron Ciraldo will face off for the third time in their NRL coaching careers as the NZ Warriors take on Canterbury Bankstown in today's 18th-round showdown.

Having once worked together under Ivan Cleary at Penrith, Webster and Ciraldo have now taken on head coaching roles with their respective teams.

Webster led the Warriors to the brink of the grand final last season, while Ciraldo's Bulldogs struggled in 15th place.

The Warriors have emerged victorious in their previous two encounters.

However, Ciraldo has breathed new life into Canterbury Bankstown this season, with the team currently sitting in sixth place in the competition.

After a thrilling win over the Sharks last week, the Bulldogs are hungry to topple another top team in the Warriors.

With more wins already under their belt compared to last season, Ciraldo's squad has found success through solid defense, with only the Panthers conceding fewer points.

As they prepare to take the field at Accor Stadium in Sydney, both coaches know that today's match will be a test of their tactical prowess and their ability to motivate their players to perform at their best.

Expect a fierce battle between these two teams as they strive for victory on the rugby league battlefield.
