Anthony Mundine, a true Aussie legend in both the rugby league and boxing worlds, has had a change of heart when it comes to his feud with Souths superstar Latrell Mitchell.
In a confession that may surprise some, Mundine admitted that he felt a bit disrespected by the whole situation and now has a newfound love for the kid.
The whole drama unfolded during the Spencer Leniu-Ezra Mam racism storm, where Mundine and Mitchell were at each other's throats in the media and on social media.
Mundine even went as far as posting a controversial video where he claimed there was no racism involved and told Mam to toughen up and take it on the chin.
But Mitchell wasn't about to back down and fired back at Mundine in an Instagram post, calling out the pressure for Indigenous people to stay quiet and fall in line.
Mundine didn't take too kindly to that and launched a personal attack on Mitchell's form, branding him an underperformer who should focus on his game before getting involved in these spats.
In the end, Mundine realized that maybe he went a bit too far and expressed his regret over the whole feud.
It seems like he's putting the drama behind him and focusing on moving forward with a new perspective.
Just goes to show, in the game of rugby league, sometimes you have to tackle your pride and make a pass towards reconciliation.
