According to warriors.kiwi, hard-working prop Jackson Ford and hooker Wayde Egan are set to return for the NZ Warriors' elimination final against the Penrith Panthers at Go Media Stadium on Saturday, with a kick-off at 6:05 PM.

The 27-year-old Ford last participated in the Warriors' 14-10 victory over St George Illawarra in round 24, after which he received a three-match suspension for a crusher tackle.

Egan, who missed the final match of the regular season against the Sea Eagles, will reach a career milestone of 150 appearances, going up against his former club this week.

Known for his consistent performance, Ford brings essential experience as he aims for his 97th appearance, marking the Warriors' second home final in two years.

Before his suspension, Ford featured in 20 of the Warriors' 21 matches, underscoring his capability to handle a heavy workload.

Among the 21 finals matches the Warriors have played since their inaugural game in 2001, they faced the Panthers three times in 2003, 2018, and 2023, the highest number of finals meetings against any club.
