Kieran Foran, a veteran player who has retired from NRL after his time with the Gold Coast Titans, has expressed a strong desire to represent the New Zealand Kiwis once more.
Foran has made it clear that his loyalty to the Kiwis remains strong, revealing that he would find it challenging to decline a call-up. With 31 international Tests already under his belt, he stated, "It would be hard to say no" if the Kiwis reached out to him.
In an interview with NRL.com, Foran said, "If the opportunity presents itself and they feel I can really add value in that side, then, I'll jump at it." He added that playing for the Kiwis has been among the highlights of his career, and if given another chance, he would "fully immerse [himself] in it and go after it like no other, because I would have nothing to leave in the tank."
He feels capable of playing again and stated that he would be ready to answer if New Zealand coach Stacey Jones reaches out. "The body's feeling good enough to certainly squeeze out a few more games… but we'll just wait and see how the back-end of the season goes," he mentioned.
