In a move that will surely boost the Sharks' pack strength, Vanessa Foliaki, the seasoned international forward, has committed to continue her leadership role for the 2025 NRLW season.

The 31-year-old powerhouse has also set her sights on a potential extension for the following year, showing her dedication to the team.

Hailing from Tonga and boasting the experience of captaining her national team at the Pacific Championships, Foliaki's impressive resume also includes two appearances for NSW in the prestigious State of Origin series.

In 2024, she showcased her skills by playing in all 11 games, culminating in a tough grand final loss to the Roosters.

Since joining the Sharks as a foundation player back in 2023, Foliaki has become a mainstay in the squad, racking up an impressive 38 NRLW matches.

Her commitment to the black, white, and blue jersey is undeniable, as she continues to embody the essence of grit and determination on the field.
