Fletcher Sharpe has suffered a PCL injury, as confirmed by scans after his return to Newcastle.
This injury occurred during the nib Knights' victory in Round 1 in Las Vegas.
Sharpe is set to begin his rehabilitation process.
He aims to make a return by Round 3 of the season.
