Queensland Origin prop Tom Flegler is determined to not let his serious shoulder injury end his NRL career.

Despite being sidelined for nearly a year, Flegler is unwavering in his belief that he will play again in the league.

After undergoing nerve-transfer surgery last September following months of failed natural recovery, Flegler has finally received some positive news on his road to recovery.

Specialists have noted signs of improvement, leading Flegler to remain optimistic about a return to the field.

While the process has been slow, Flegler sees the year 2026 as a realistic target for his comeback.

He confidently stated, "I'm confident I will come back.

I could be back this year, I don't know." Flegler's determination and positive mindset are driving him towards his goal of playing in the NRL once again.
