The Sharks' winger Te Wehi Waitere then extended their lead with a second try.

However, the Tigers fought back, with prop Herman Tofaeono scoring their first try of the game.

In the second half, the Sharks maintained their intensity and were rewarded for their efforts.

Waitere and Dixon both scored their second tries of the afternoon, while forwards Salesi Ataata and Lachlan Crouch also crossed over for tries late in the game.

These late tries sealed a convincing win for the Sharks.

With just one game remaining before the Finals, the Sharks will be looking to continue their impressive form and secure a higher position on the competition table.
