In Round 9 of the Senior Pathways, the Jersey Flegg Cup team of the Bulldogs achieved a remarkable victory, winning by 24 points against the Sydney Roosters.

Meanwhile, the NSW Cup side suffered a narrow defeat, losing 38-31 to the Roosters after leading 31-12 at one point.

The Bulldogs also faced setbacks in other matches, with the Kaiviti Silktails unable to upset Manly and the Ron Massey Cup team falling to Blacktown.

In the Flegg Cup match, the Bulldogs showcased their resilience, scoring a critical third try that put them ahead for the first time.

Cassius Tia played a pivotal role, finding Wavik on the right edge, who assisted Blake Wilson.

Wilson's dive into the corner marked his first points, and Tia successfully converted from the sideline, putting the Bulldogs ahead 16-12.

However, the narrative was different for the NSW Cup team.

After a dominant start, the Bulldogs were overtaken by a fierce comeback from the Roosters.

The Roosters initially trailed after Tom Rodwell scored the first try, following a well-executed grubber kick.

Rodwell scooped up a rebound off a Bulldogs player, crossing the try-line.

Chad Townsend completed the conversion, putting the Roosters ahead 6-0.

Despite leading for a significant portion of the game, the Bulldogs could not maintain their advantage, as the Roosters scored five unanswered tries in the second half, ultimately sealing their comeback victory with a final score of 38-31.
