Fiji's 2026 Rugby League World Cup Squad Preview

LeagueNews.co | Jess Malloy

The 2026 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC) is approaching, with less than a year until nations compete to dethrone Australia and claim the title of world champions.

Fiji aims to make a significant impact in 2026, assembling what could be their strongest squad in history, especially after struggling to achieve notable success recently.

The team is likely to feature key players from the Wests Tigers, including Apisai Koroisau, Jahream Bula, and Sunia Turuva. Additionally, Viliame Kikau, one of the top back-rowers in the NRL, is set to lead the forward pack.

This squad marks a departure from the 2022 RLWC lineup, with only nine of the 24 players returning for the upcoming tournament.
