Canterbury Bulldogs player Viliame Kikau is excited about the potential for Fijian juniors to make their mark in the NRL, following the success of the Kaiviti Silktails in the Jersey Flegg competition.
The Silktails recently made history by winning their first two matches and Kikau believes this is just the beginning for Fijian players.
He has been instrumental in promoting rugby league in Fiji, establishing the Kikau Academy to help young players pursue their dreams.
Kikau is optimistic about the future, stating, "I do believe that it's only time before we have a Silktails player debuting with the Bulldogs." The development of Fijian talent is a priority for Kikau, who wants to see more players from his home country following his path to the NRL.
