AAMI Park is set to welcome some new visitors next week as the Fijian Drua rugby team prepares for their trial match against the Melbourne Rebels.

The Storm facilities at the venue will be utilized by the Drua as they gear up for the 2024 Super Rugby season.

The connection between the Storm and the Fijian Drua continues to grow, as reported on melbournestorm.com.au.

In a true display of sportsmanship, the Drua will repay the favor by hosting the Storm at their home base in Fiji a week later.

The Storm will have access to the Drua's gym, team meeting rooms, and training field as they prepare for their second preseason trial and an epic showdown against the Newcastle Knights.

This partnership between the two clubs has been flourishing, with the Fijian Drua coach, Mick Byrne, spending time with the Storm last year.

This led to an exhilarating clash against the Penrith Panthers at Marvel Stadium.

It's also worth noting that the Chief Executive Officer at Fijian Drua, Mark Evans, was once the CEO of the Storm from 2013 to 2015.

This exciting collaboration between the two teams demonstrates the power of camaraderie in the world of rugby league.
