titans.com.au have reported that Fifita's family ties are set to fuel his forward focus this season as he returns from ankle surgery last year.
In both of the Gold Coast's Pre-Season Challenge matches, Fifita has shown promising form, indicating that he is ready for the Round 2 opener against the Bulldogs.
In a statement made before the NRL season launch, Fifita discussed the challenges he faced in the 2024 season, including off-field distractions.
"I've been through tough times, but I'm ready to push forward and focus on my game," he said.
Despite rumors of a potential move to the Roosters, Fifita expressed his loyalty to the Titans and emphasized the importance of family.
"Family comes first, and staying with the Titans was the right decision for me," he said.
He also credited his partner, Gold Coast forward Shaylee Bent, for her unwavering support.
