After serving suspensions that saw him spend seven weeks on the sidelines during the Dolphins' inaugural season, Felise Kaufusi is determined to have a more consistent year on the field.
Known as 'Phin Diesel' early on, Kaufusi impressed fans with his aggression and imposing presence.
However, his aggressive style led to dangerous tackles and subsequent suspensions.
He missed Round 4 to Round 7 due to a Dangerous Contact charge and Round 13 to Round 15 for a Careless High Tackle charge.
In addition, Kaufusi was fined $3000 for another Careless High Tackle later in the season.
The former Storm player expressed his disappointment at losing his Maroons jersey while sidelined.
While he plans to maintain his aggressive style of play, Kaufusi acknowledges the need to make adjustments in order to stay on the field consistently.
