In a heart-wrenching turn of events, cowboys.com.au has announced the departure of star player Feldt from the Cowboys.

Hailing from Townsville, Feldt rose through the ranks of the Cowboys NYC program before making his NRL debut back in 2013.

With a career spanning 12 seasons and 213 games, the 32-year-old has solidified his status as one of the greatest outside backs to ever grace the turf in a Cowboys jersey.

Feldt was honored as the 13th Life Member in club history during Round 8 of this season, joining the prestigious ranks of players who have reached the 200-game milestone for North Queensland.

A product of the Norths Thuringowa Devils, Feldt etched his name in the history books when he surpassed Matthew Bowen's longstanding try-scoring record by notching up his 131st try in front of his loyal home fanbase at Queensland Country Bank Stadium against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 5.

Known for his flair in clutch moments, Feldt will forever be remembered for his iconic try in the 2015 grand final against the Broncos.

In a true display of skill and determination, he secured the game-tying try with a miraculous catch off a Michael Morgan pass as the final whistle blew, setting the stage for the Cowboys' thrilling victory in Golden Point.

As Feldt bids farewell to the Cowboys faithful, his legacy as a true Rugby League warrior will undoubtedly live on in the annals of North Queensland history.
