Olivia Kernick has capped off an impressive year by contributing to the Westpac NSW Blues' victory in the State of Origin Shield, showcasing her dedication to the sport.
According to nrl.com.au, Kernick's achievements include the Origin II player-of-the-match award during the 26-6 win at Allianz Stadium, in addition to her 2024 NRLW premiership, Dally M medal, and a Jillaroos jersey from the March 1 Test against England in Las Vegas.
Despite her recent accolades, Kernick remains focused on her goals, stating, "We still have a job to do." She aims to support NSW in achieving a historic women's Origin series whitewash in Game 3, scheduled for May 29 at Newcastle's McDonald Jones Stadium.
Although missing out on Jillaroos selection for the Pacific Championships at the end of the last season was a disappointment, Kernick is determined not to let it affect her outlook.
