Feeder Report: Round 6 & 7

The latest report from Melbourne Storm's feeder teams in Rounds 6 and 7 is in, and it's looking like a real ripper of a weekend for the lads.

They managed to snag two wins and even pulled off a draw in the HostPlus Cup and Knock On Effect NSW Cup.

The Falcons are really hitting their stride in 2024, notching up their third win in a row by outplaying the Townsville Blackhawks with a solid 28-14 victory at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

It's safe to say they're in a bit of a purple patch at the moment.

On the other hand, the Brisbane Tigers found themselves deadlocked with the CQ Capras after 80 minutes of intense play, resulting in a 12-12 draw at Totally Workwear Stadium.

Talk about a nail-biter!

Grant Anderson's knack for finding the try line just keeps on shining for the Falcons, as he scored for the third consecutive game.

Meanwhile, Young Tonumaipea was an absolute powerhouse on the field, racking up an impressive 163 metres, four tackle breaks, and even setting up a try for his teammates.

It's clear that these feeder teams are really giving it their all out there, making their mark in the world of Rugby League.

The Storm's future looks bright with players like Anderson and Tonumaipea leading the charge.

Watch out, the competition better be ready for what Storm's feeders have got up their sleeves!
