Stephanie Faulkner is set to make history by becoming the first player to progress entirely through Cronulla's female pathways system when she debuts in the NRLW against the Raiders on Saturday.
Faulkner began her journey with the Sharks in the under-17 Lisa Fiaola Cup in 2022.
She advanced to the under-19 Tarsha Gale Cup the following year, where she was honored with the club's Female Junior Representative Player of the Year award.
In 2024, she moved up to the open-age Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership.
Following a season-ending knee injury to Filomina Hanisi, Faulkner has been called into the first-grade side for the match at GIO Stadium.
This debut marks a "landmark moment" for Faulkner and the Sharks.
