Now it's time to say goodbye

The Warriors have announced that it's time to bid farewell to Tohu Harris, who recently called time on his rugby league career.

The faithful fans will have the chance to give him a proper send-off at the club's first home game of the season at Go Media Stadium tomorrow night.

The inspirational leader will be honored in two special moments, one before kick-off in the clash against Manly Warringah and another at halftime.

After announcing his retirement just days after turning 33, Harris had to hang up his boots due to ongoing wrist injury issues.

With 234 NRL games under his belt, split evenly between the Melbourne Storm and the Warriors, Harris leaves behind a lasting legacy.

Having taken over the captaincy in 2022, Harris led the Warriors 52 times during his three seasons in charge.

His leadership was instrumental in guiding the team to the preliminary final in 2023, marking a significant achievement for the club.

This was the first time the Warriors had made it that far since 2011, and only the fourth time in the team's history.
