Super League standout and former Souths half Lewis Dodd has candidly addressed his disappointing NRL experience.
After establishing himself as a prominent player over five seasons with St Helens, Dodd signed a lucrative three-year contract with the Bunnies starting in 2025.
However, his tenure was short-lived, as he was let go after just one season and a mere six games at the top level.
Now back in the Super League with Catalans Dragons, Dodd has kicked off his 2026 season on a high note.
Following a hard-fought 22-16 victory over Leigh, he took issue with a comment made by Sky Sports' Brian Carney regarding his unfair treatment in the NRL.
"Obviously it didn't go to plan or the way I wanted to, but I've said numerous times now that I wouldn't change it," Dodd stated.
He added, "The experiences and the lessons that I got both on and off the field is making me enjoy my rugby league now so I wouldn't change it."
