The Wests Tigers have signed former NRL outside backs Krystian Mapapalangi and Izaac Tu'itupou to train and trial contracts for the rest of the 2025 season.
Mapapalangi, who left the Newcastle Knights at the end of last season, had been considering a move to the Super League before joining the Tigers.
Despite being described as a potential superstar by his former coaches, injuries hindered his time with the Knights, where he made four first-grade appearances after progressing through junior pathways with the Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles.
Tu'itupou, formerly known as Thompson, earned his spot on the Tigers' train and trial squad after playing four games for the Western Suburbs Magpies in the NSW Cup earlier this year.
