Envisioning NRL's future stars: who will shine brightest?

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The NRL is currently saturated with young talent, with many of its top players not even hitting the big 3-0 yet.

According to the folks over at zerotackle.com, Nathan Cleary already boasts four premierships at the ripe age of 27, while Tom Dearden holds the reins as the Queensland Maroons' five-eighth at just 23.

Then there's Stephen Crichton, a 24-year-old captain who is already making waves as one of the league's finest.

With this crop of budding stars making their mark early on, it begs the question - who will be the cream of the crop in 2030? The field is stacked with talent, and with a few up-and-comers showing promise, the competition is only set to heat up in the coming years.

So, who will emerge as the next batch of rugby league royalty in the NRL? Only time will tell.
