Katoa ready to lead Storm to victory, says Captain Grant

The Melbourne Storm's fearless leader, Harry Grant, has hailed Eli Katoa's leadership qualities as the forward steps up to join the club's esteemed leadership group.

At 25 years young, Katoa will stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Josh King, Ryan Papenhuyzen, and Tui Kamikamica in the quest for glory in 2025.

Jahrome Hughes and Cameron Munster will serve as vice-captains, with Grant proudly wearing the captain's armband.

Grant, a seasoned veteran of the rugby league battlefield, has witnessed Katoa's growth both on and off the field since his arrival in Melbourne back in 2023.

The Tongan powerhouse is set to bring a fresh perspective and unwavering determination to the Storm's leadership ranks, uniting the team in their quest for greatness.

As they embark on their journey towards rugby league immortality, Grant is confident that Katoa's leadership will inspire his teammates to fight tooth and nail for every inch on the field.

With Katoa at the helm, the Storm are poised to weather any storm that comes their way and emerge victorious on the other side.
