The Parramatta Eels wrapped up their pre-season campaign in impressive fashion, securing a 26-16 victory over the Titans in Ipswich on Sunday.
The Eels displayed no signs of pre-season rust, delivering a spectacular attacking display that left their opponents struggling to keep up.
Despite having 11 players featuring for the first time in 2024, Parramatta showed great cohesion and skill on the field.
Tries from Will Penisini, Maika Sivo, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Bryce Cartwright, and J'maine Hopgood proved to be the difference, as they put the game out of the Titans' reach.
It was a highly promising performance from the Eels, who now set their eyes on their season-opener against the Bulldogs.
J'maine Hopgood shone particularly bright, contributing not only with a try but also with an outstanding 234 run metres and 31 tackles.
Furthermore, the return of Clint Gutherson, Mitchell Moses, and Junior Paulo from injury proved to be instrumental, with each player registering try assists and adding more firepower to the Eels' attack.
