Tom Eisenhuth, a forward for the Dragons, has announced his immediate retirement from rugby league.

The 32-year-old joined the Red V for the 2024 NRL season, where he played every match and received the Immortals Award, recognizing him as the player who consistently upheld high standards both on and off the field, as determined by the coaching staff.

However, after experiencing lingering concussion symptoms from a head knock during the 2025 pre-season, Eisenhuth faced a recurrence of these symptoms upon returning to play in Round 5 of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup.

After managing these issues for several weeks, he has ultimately decided to retire from the sport.
