In a blow to the New Zealand Warriors, hooker Wayde Egan has been ruled out of the second-round NRL clash against Melbourne at AAMI Park on Saturday.
Back-up dummy half Freddy Lussick has been named to start in his place, while Jazz Tevaga has been brought onto the bench for the showdown.
Alongside Egan, centres Adam Pompey and Ali Leiataua have also been omitted from the squad, with Te Maire Martin and Chanel Harris-Tavita retaining their spots in the game day 19.
Despite initially being named in the starting line-up, Egan has been forced to withdraw due to an elbow injury.
Head coach Andrew Webster has made only one change to the squad, with Harris-Tavita taking the place of Jacob Laban.
Adding to the excitement of the match is the coveted Michael Moore Trophy, which has been in the hands of the Storm since 2015.
The Warriors last tasted victory in Melbourne on Anzac Day 2014, in a memorable 16-10 win under the guidance of Andrew McFadden.
This upcoming clash marks the 51st meeting between the two clubs, with Melbourne holding a dominant 32-16 advantage.
With the odds stacked against them, the Warriors will be looking to turn the tide and claim victory in enemy territory.
