In a move that could stir up some buzz in the NRL world, the Parramatta Eels have officially announced that young star Blaize Talagi will be bidding adieu to the club come the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Talagi, who has been making waves as one of the league's most promising rookies, has caught the eye of rival teams with his impressive skills on the field.

A versatile player who can take on multiple positions in the backline, including fullback and five-eighth, Talagi had a tempting player option for 2025 with the Eels.

However, the club has now revealed that he won't be exercising that option, indicating that he has opted for an offer from another team.

While the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Dolphins have been rumored to be in the running for Talagi's signature, his new destination remains a mystery for now.

Parramatta CEO, Jim Sarantinos, expressed disappointment at Talagi's departure and confirmed that the club had put forth a "strong offer" to try and retain the talented player.

As the rugby league world eagerly anticipates the next chapter in Talagi's career, only time will tell which team will snag this rising star.
