Wests Tigers hooker Tallyn Da Silva is set to become a hot prospect as he enters the open market on November 1, attracting interest from at least five NRL teams, including the Parramatta Eels.
Recognized as one of the best young talents in rugby league, Da Silva is anticipated to find opportunities elsewhere, as it appears increasingly likely that he won't remain with the Tigers.
Although he wishes to stay, the Tigers are in negotiations with captain Apisai Koroisau for a contract extension, indicating that Koroisau will continue as the starting hooker.
This situation limits Da Silva's potential playing time, forcing him to remain on the bench.
His manager, Mario Tartak, confirmed to Wide World of Sports that multiple clubs are keen on Da Silva and intend to reach out to him if Koroisau signs the extension.
"At least five clubs have expressed an interest in his services," Tartak mentioned.
Notably, the Parramatta Eels are one of those interested parties, particularly after missing out on the signing of Da Silva's friend and former schoolmate, Lachlan Galvin.
Overall, as the situation unfolds, Da Silva's marketability is rising, and the upcoming decisions regarding his future will likely shape the roster dynamics within the NRL.
