The Parramatta Eels have officially welcomed South Sydney Rabbitohs' halfback Dean Hawkins to their ranks ahead of the 2025 NRL season.

In a move to bolster their squad, Hawkins has signed a two-year deal with the club, set to support Dylan Brown and Mitchell Moses in the halves until the end of the 2026 NRL season.

Hawkins' arrival at the Eels comes after much speculation linking him to a potential move to the Gold Coast Titans under the guidance of Des Hasler.

The Champagnat Catholic College graduate, with 14 first-grade appearances under his belt, made his debut in Round 5 of the 2021 season against the Brisbane Broncos.

Stepping up for the Rabbitohs in place of Lachlan Ilias, Hawkins secured the No.7 jersey before a quad injury unfortunately sidelined him for a significant portion of the season.

Now, the Eels are looking forward to seeing Hawkins bring his skills and determination to the team as they strive for success on the field.
