The Parramatta Eels have reportedly snapped up Cronulla Sharks forward Jack Williams, in a move that is set to shake up the 2025 Rugby League season.

Williams, a key player in the Sharks' forward pack since his debut in 2018, has made an impressive 124 appearances at NRL level.

Known for his hard-hitting tackles and powerful runs, Williams has been a reliable force for Cronulla, clocking in an average of 99 meters per game this season with a near-perfect tackle rate of 94 percent.

Often likened to the legendary Paul Gallen, Williams has proven himself as a valuable asset to the Sharks, despite not quite reaching Gallen's iconic status.

His versatility to play both in the middle and on the edge has made him a standout player for Cronulla, and now he is set to bring his skills to the Eels for the next three years.

With Jason Ryles at the coaching helm, Williams is poised to make a big impact in the western suburbs of Sydney until at least 2027.

This signing is sure to be a game-changer for the Eels, as they aim to climb the ladder and make a mark in the upcoming seasons.
