The Parramatta Eels have announced that Ryley Smith has been promoted to the Top 30 squad for 2026 and has extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2027 season.

Since his NRL debut in Round 1 this year, Smith has proven to be a vital member of the Eels' forward pack, showcasing dynamic play from dummy half and a strong defensive presence.

His development has been a notable highlight for the Eels this season.

General Manager of Football Mark O'Neill commended Smith for his performances and growth, noting that Smith excelled during the pre-season and maintained that level of play throughout the trial matches, leading to his selection in the NRL team.
