Brad Arthur, the former Parramatta Eels coach, is eyeing a swift return to the NRL arena, with reports suggesting he could be back in the game sooner than anticipated.

After parting ways with the Eels to make room for Jason Ryles, Arthur has been steering the ship at Leeds Rhinos in the Super League.

Despite his current gig across the pond, Arthur's heart still beats for the NRL, where he hopes to leave his mark once more.

"I want to be a career coach in the NRL and I still have some unfinished business there," he remarked at a recent presser with the Leeds Rhinos.

Yearning for a return down under, Arthur has captured the attention of the Newcastle Knights, who have expressed interest in bringing him on board as an assistant coach under Adam O'Brien for the upcoming season.

With the Knights keen to bolster their coaching staff, Arthur may soon find himself back in familiar territory, ready to tackle new challenges and pave the way for future successes.
