After a Round Four bye for three of the Eels teams, all four sides were back in action on Saturday for Round Five of the Junior Reps season, giving it all they've got.

In a display of sheer determination, the Eels Lisa Fiaola Cup side continued on their winning ways with a highly impressive victory over the Sharks.

However, the Tarsha Gale side were stopped in their tracks when the Sharks inflicted the Eels first loss of the season, delivering a blow that left them reeling.

Meanwhile, the Eels Harold Matthews and SG Ball Cup teams were as solid as a rock for their western Sydney rivals, beating the Panthers in both grades with finesse and skill worthy of the greats of the game.

The Eels Lisa Fiaola Cup team maintained their undefeated record when they disposed of the Sharks 20-6 at Cronulla High School on Saturday, showing true grit and heart in every play.

Scoring five tries to one, the Eels did well to prevail against a Sharks side that made them work hard for every point, leaving it all out on the field.

Just the single try was scored during a tight first half, and it came after twenty minutes via Georgia Wansey, leaving fans on the edge of their seats with anticipation for what the second half would bring.
