The Parramatta Eels have announced the re-signing of young talent Jordan Samrani, who has made a notable impact since joining from the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Initially arriving on a train-and-trial agreement, Samrani has now signed a one-year contract extension, which secures his position with the Eels through at least the end of the 2027 NRL season.
Samrani has showcased his versatility by playing both in the back-row and back-line, appearing in nine first-grade matches since his debut earlier this year.
His consistent performances have marked him as one of the more underrated players on the team.
Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O'Neill, has expressed confidence in Samrani's potential: "Jordan is a big man, predominantly an outside back who can also add versatility to the squad.
He has already shown great promise and we're excited to see how he further develops within the program."
