In Round 12 of the NSW Cup, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles faced a 36-26 defeat against the Parramatta Eels at Kellyville Park.
The match began with both teams exchanging possession, but the Sea Eagles were briefly down to 12 players when prop D'Jazirhae Pua'avase was sin-binned for high contact.
Taking advantage of the situation, the Eels scored a try through Te Hurinui Twidle just a minute later, establishing a 6-0 lead.
The Sea Eagles quickly responded, with Jordan Swann scoring in the 16th minute.
Swann showcased his speed and strength, resulting in a well-deserved try in the corner, bringing the score to 6-4.
The game exhibited end-to-end action for the following ten minutes as both teams pressured each other's defenses.
However, Parramatta managed to break through Manly's tiring defense, scoring two more tries in the 24th and 33rd minutes, ending the first half with an 18-6 advantage.
