The Sea Eagles from Manly are flying high after soaring into the top four of the Jersey Flegg Cup with a commanding 48-8 victory over the courageous Kaiviti Silktails at 4 Pines Park today.

Like a well-oiled machine, the Sea Eagles showed their dominance against a spirited Silktails team from Fiji, who were hungry for their maiden win of the season in their inaugural year in the Jersey Flegg competition.

With this triumph, Manly has surged from fifth place to third, pending the results of the weekend games.

The Sea Eagles didn't waste any time in taking charge, as prop Devante Mihinui bulldozed his way over the try line in the fifth minute, courtesy of a slick pass from half Travis May, giving Manly a 6-0 advantage.

Mihinui's return to the side after his NSW Cup debut for Blacktown Workers last week proved to be a game-changer for the Sea Eagles.

A clever grubber kick from full-back Kallum Weatherall-Stacey set up towering winger Nepote Taufa to increase the lead to 10-0 after just 10 minutes.

With performances like this, the Sea Eagles are proving to be a force to be reckoned with as they strive for greatness in the Jersey Flegg competition.
