The Manly Sea Eagles are proactively engaging in contract negotiations to retain two of their forwards, Jazz Tevaga and Siosiua Taukeiaho, as they aim to strengthen their roster for the 2026 NRL season.

Currently ranked 7th on the NRL ladder, the Sea Eagles have 12 spots available on their Top 30 roster for the upcoming season.

This period marks a significant transitional phase for the club, especially with the impending departure of Daly Cherry-Evans in less than nine months.

As several players are set to be off-contract at the end of this season, the Sea Eagles face challenging decisions regarding their roster while ensuring compliance with salary cap regulations.

Additionally, with reports suggesting that Ethan Bullemor is likely to re-sign, there remains uncertainty around the futures of key players Jake and Tom Trbojevic.

Manly Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov has acknowledged the initiation of contract talks with Tevaga and Taukeiaho, emphasizing the club's commitment to retaining talent as they navigate this pivotal phase for their future.
