The Sea Eagles had a ripper time celebrating their big win in the inaugural Sydney Shield match for the newly formed Manly Leagues team.
It was a proud moment for the club as they took down Cabramatta 26-22 at New Era Stadium last Saturday.
Under the coaching of Anthony Watmough, the Sea Eagles scored six tries to Cabramatta's four, with winger Lachlan Burt nabbing a couple of meat pies.
The game was a real nail-biter, sitting at 12-all at the half.
The Sydney Shield, the NSWRL's fourth tier men's competition, sets the stage for both up-and-coming and seasoned players to shine in the Ron Massey Cup.
The new Sea Eagles squad has the backing of Manly Leagues, Manly Warringah Rugby League Football Club, Manly Warringah Junior Rugby League, and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
Watmough couldn't be happier for his players, seeing their hard work in the off-season pay off with a special moment in Sydney Shield history.
