Eagles grounded by Warriors, doubly hurt in loss

The Manly Sea Eagles suffered a significant blow in their 36-16 loss to the New Zealand Warriors on Friday night, with star players Tom Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans both leaving the field before full-time due to injuries.

This double injury setback could have major ramifications for the team in the coming weeks if the players are sidelined for an extended period.

Coach Anthony Seibold revealed that Cherry-Evans had suffered a back spasm, while Trbojevic experienced tightness in his left hamstring.

Seibold expressed the need to get both players checked by the medical staff to determine the extent of their injuries.

The losses of Trbojevic and Cherry-Evans could prove to be a significant challenge for the Manly Sea Eagles as they look to bounce back from the defeat and continue their season.
