In Round 12 of the Jersey Flegg Cup, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles faced off against the Parramatta Eels, resulting in a 40-24 defeat for Manly.
Despite showing promise with dynamic play, errors and defensive issues in their territory ultimately cost them the match.
The Eels started strong, quickly establishing an 18-0 lead with three tries within the first 15 minutes.
However, the Sea Eagles responded fiercely, scoring three tries in just 13 minutes to narrow the gap.
Zachary Karam made an impressive aerial play to touch down in the 19th minute.
Following this, Jett Jackson's brilliant off-load allowed full-back Riley Pennell to score another try just four minutes later.
While Manly demonstrated their potential, their inability to maintain composure under pressure proved detrimental.
