The Manly Sea Eagles and Newcastle Knights have confirmed a player swap involving Jake Arthur and Paul Bryan.
Jake Arthur, a 22-year-old half-back, has been with the Sea Eagles since mid-2023 but will now join the Knights.
In exchange, young forward Paul Bryan is moving to Manly.
Despite interest in signing Jack Hetherington, reports indicate the Sea Eagles have been blocked from making that deal, and he will remain with the Knights for the season, even though his contract is not expected to be renewed.
Bryan is currently sidelined due to injury and will not return for the remainder of the year.
Previously reported discussions suggested Arthur was exploring a move to the Knights for the rest of the 2025 season, largely due to his limited game time with the Sea Eagles.
