In a bold move, Manly Sea Eagles assistant coach Jim Dymock will be taking the coaching reigns this weekend for the club's opening match in the NRL Pre-Season Challenge.
This opportunity is aimed at further developing Dymock's coaching skills and granting him valuable experience in the role.
The Sea Eagles, who are gunning for back-to-back wins in the two-week competition, will be facing off against the Sydney Roosters in Gosford on Saturday.
With a tempting $100,000 prize money up for grabs, the team will undoubtedly be giving it their all on the field.
Dymock, a former NRL, NSW Blues, and Australia lock, brings a wealth of experience to the position, having previously coached the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2011 and the Tonga national team from 2006 to 2008.
Showing his calm demeanor, Dymock nonchalantly mentioned that this coaching opportunity is nothing really different for him, while acknowledging the importance of Seibold getting a taste of sideline action.
This match will surely test Dymock's coaching mettle and provide a platform for him to showcase his skills.
