Rugby League stalwart Dylan Walker has revealed the four 'Players to Watch' for the upcoming 2025 NRL season, as the New Zealand Warriors embark on a new chapter post the departures of Addin Fonua-Blake, Shaun Johnson, and Tohu Harris.
Just one game away from the 2023 NRL Grand Final, the Warriors had a rollercoaster 2024 season that saw them miss out on the finals.
Now, as they strive to bounce back, the team has brought in some fresh faces, notably four-time premiership winner James Fisher-Harris.
However, they will heavily lean on the younger talent within the squad.
The off-season saw a significant loss of experience for the Warriors, with veterans such as Addin Fonua-Blake (Sharks), Tohu Harris (retired), Shaun Johnson (retired), Marcelo Montoya (Bulldogs), Jazz Tevaga (Manly), and Zyon Maiu'u (Bulldogs) all departing.
In a discussion with Zero Tackle, Dylan Walker outlined the four 'Players to Watch' in 2025 - two forwards and two backs.
Despite their limited first-grade experience, these rising stars are poised to make a mark on the league.
