Dylan Egan Travels with Dragons Despite Injury

All In on Egan: Why local junior is in Vegas despite injury

Dylan Egan, a local junior, has made the trip to Vegas despite his injury, missing the season opener against the Bulldogs at Allegiant Stadium.

Although he ruptured his ACL nine months ago, the 21-year-old Gerringong native was the first Dragon informed about the trip.

Coach Shane Flanagan emphasized that this wouldn't be a vacation for Egan; he has a unique role within the traveling squad.

During the trip, Egan will also focus on his rehabilitation as he aims for a comeback around Rounds 8-10 of the NRL season.

This is Egan's first experience traveling to the United States, and he anticipates it will be a transformative journey.

The bright lights and excitement of Vegas are certainly a departure from his roots.
